There seem to be a number of different versions
of SACRE to the same Stravinsky score, at least
one in which the central character
is male, and at least one in which the central character is female. I
guess that the ballet has always generated enough interest among
audiences, performers and ballet companies
to have been frequently staged as one ****tion
of a mixed bill in
certain recent time periods, but perhaps
no extant version has been recorded.
