So what is all this Persecution Stuff Anyway?
Persecution takes place every Friday at the Falchion Pub in Stockton
on Tees.
Persecution has been running now since 2003 and has been enjoying
great success since then, after some recent issues with management at
our previous venue we came back kicking and screaming with a new
venue, this here fine new website as well as a whole new feel to the
place.
It costs at the moment £2 to get in and you must be dressed
appropriatly, ie Goth, Fetish, Cyber, Alternative in some way. All
regular members of Persecution must carry a member****p card to gain
access to the night. The following is the protocol we follow for
member****p entrance
1. You must bring your member****p card with you each week to gain
admission.
2. No lending of member****p card to other people. (Yes, that's one of
the reasons we took your photo, so we know who you are!)
3. A limit of two guests per member. You are responsible for them (and
their behaviour!) while they are at Persecution - if for any reason we
have to ask them to leave, then you will also be asked to leave.
If you wish to have a member****p card of your own, providing that you
fit in with the general scene and the like, or you are known by
already existing members then there will be no problem in gaining a
member****p card. The cards are in force for many reasons, primarily to
give a feeling of security to the members knowing that undesirables
will not be gaining entrance to the night, and causing unrest and
problems for people who want to go out and enjoy themselves.

The website solely exists for the Persecution community as well as the
Alternative and goth culture at large, many of our members are
regulars there, so it is good to get to know the people here, as we
are all one large community of good friends.

As for the types of music you are likely to here, it will be anything
from old school metal, rock, and 80s up to todays greats in the realms
of darkwave, ebm, metal, goth, industrial and electro. With tonnes of
other genres pushed in for good measure. We have a multitide of DJs
each with their own style and music collection.
Drinks prices are average pub prices with special offers on drinks to
keep you interested. It is not overpriced and you will get your moneys
worth in booze if you so desire it.

a Friday Night!
