Thank you all for those that attended Friday night - especially those
that came out after one of the three big concerts that night (Tool,
Fishbone, & Horrorpops), or from First Friday

When you (the audience) are
screaming for more at the end of the evening, and the club management
is telling you to shut it down - you know it was a good night! Thank
you all who provided feedback on the night and the setlist,
constructive criticism is what helps us improve as DJs as promoters,
and as professionals.

and covering with DJ Delchi's illness. All re****ts indicate he has
recovered from the setback, and he intends to never purchase pizza from
that place ever again! With Delchi being out, the raffle was put on
hiatus until next week.
I am glad everyone had a good laugh from the request list clipboard -
when we pulled it out of the normal hiding place for the night, someone
had already started the list with 'Spice Girls' - so we went with it.
Going around the venue with the request clipboard during our first hour
gave us DJs more requests than we could get to, but I retained the list
for future nights, and our shopping excursion to Zia's / Amazon /
Amoeba Music. Remember that the request list clipboard is always open
for your requests, located up next to the DJ Booth.
We were also able to spin three debut tracks in Vegas that night -
the new singles from Morrissey and Rammstein; and the new single from
the band i:Scintilla which was also the Combicrist mix version.
Apparently there were some sound issues on Friday night - since there
is so many individuals using the sound equipment during the week you
never know what the configuration or condition will be when when you
show up. Not that we have much control over the situation, but we will
see what we can due to correct the sound issues for next week.
