It's back! This Big Band's last public gig was in November. We
tem****arily lost it because of poor attendance. It seems we've lost
the gigs at Ashkenaz for good for the same reason.
The floor is fast and good. The inter-set food is better than one
expects. There's a bar and plenty of parking. And, after the gig,
Bayside Swing is only a mile away.

The RUDY SALVINI ORCHESTRA plays mostly FoxTrots suitable for Swing.
Also Rumbas, Waltzes, and ChaChas at the Elks' Club Lodge Room, 2255
Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda. Dinner buffet served between first and
second sets: $9. This band's been together so long that it's near
perfect, swings nicely, and has some of the best soloists you'll ever
hear.
