Don't say I didn't tell you!
A few years ago, I was standing outside the HiBall Lounge when Johnny
Nocturne came along carrying his axe. During our conversation, he told
me he was about to perform at the Monterey Jazz Festival.
The following Monday, several of my co-workers came to me to ask "Do
you know Johnny Nocturne?" "Yes." "=A1WOW!" Apparently he tore up
Monterey, no surprise to us fans, and is being described by the
current promoter as "ferocious". Oh, yeah!
