I ask again, what methods are you really proposing?  Point us to
some Youtube videos that demonstrate the "Hustle" you do and
prefer.  Tell us what figures and timings you consider more
appropriate for the faster music you like.

So far, with the hundreds of postings that have gone around on
this issue, not one has been about the "meat" of the issue.

I started "Hustle" in the Ballroom world, where &123 is the basic
count and back breaks and right turns (aka place change or
wheel) are signatures of "Hustle."  The current "NY Style"
incor****ates material from lots of dances, including WCS,
Chacha, Samba, Salsa/Mambo, ECS, etc., (as the case with
most dances because of cross-polination), so blaming politics
is silly and counter-productive.
