There's a section on places to dance on the A BIT OF NON-GAMBLING LAS
VEGAS page at http://geocities.com/iconoc/Articles/LasVegas.html#d
Some of the information is unlikely to be found elsewhere. But please
confirm the gigs. We're there only once a year.
Jerry Tiffe's afternoon gigs can be fun. They're at Station casinos.

These all seem to be new resources. Glad to learn of 'em. There are
others on the page referenced above.

There's no information about who's running these dances. Larry Taylor
did for about twenty years. Recently he's been in Jean and attendance
that we've seen has been way down.
The floor in the Gold Coast Showroom is very nice. The site doesn't
say, but the Gold Coast tradition has been that two drinks are
included with the price of admission.
Last time we were there when Larry Taylor was, the crowd was quite old
and the level of dancing was quite low but not so low as to have a
miserable time. The crowd dressed very nicely, many dresses and
neckties. We'll dance there June 29 and maybe the 22nd, too. And we'll
dance in the lounge maybe the preceding Wednesday and Friday
afternoons where the atmosphere is very comfortable and friendly.
There's a bit about dancing, in blue, in the re****t entitled "A Trip
to Las Vegas=85" at http://geocities.com/iconoc/Articles/RoadJJ07.html
